About the founder
Kyoshi Mike Trott 8th Dan Black Belt. Mike started karate at the age of 14 with
Professor Larry S.L. Martin hanshi in the South Providence section of Elmwood Ave. on Potters Ave. at the House of Hope
a Ri-hab out reach program, they gave classes to the kids in the area. Professor Martin and Dr. Handley were the Instructors
their. classes were very hard and nonstop. training back then was a the street, learning how to fight! Mike came in and thats
when classes got harder.
